"Friendly and full of dogs"
Came up for an exhibition at Gleneagles. We got back around 11pm and were greeted by 2 friendly terriers. Locals in the bar were very welcoming too!

Picked for price but would pick over others even if they were cheaper. It is an old building with winding corridors but is well heated (we were there in December).
Only downside was lack of en-suite, but as mentioned, it's an old building.
Would definitely stay again. Read less

Very comfortable room and bed in a quiet room at the back. And landlord was decent enough to tell us that the price had dropped since we booked, so gave us lower rate.
Dislikes:
There was nowhere in our room (6) to hang clothes, but apart from that, no complaints.

Convenient just off A9 but since the location is off the main road no significant noise. Rooms are basic but comfortable and clean and for us much nicer than staying in one of the chain motels.... Read more
